The tea here is to die for - go for the ginger tea. And the kumavani burger is the best partner to tea. The location is the only such on bheemtal road. I urge the owners to somehow cancel the noise of road - can be a glass or something. But let’s say in hours of less road sound pollution the best place to be.

Superb view. Had hot chocolate and garlic bread, the taste was good. Ask for Hot Chocolate without sugar if you prefer less sweet. Best part of the cafe is the lake view.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Heartwarming Experience in Bhimtal While exploring the serene town of Bhimtal, I stumbled upon the most delightful little café, owned by a lovely elderly couple. Mrs. Kumkum, the heart and soul of the place, welcomed me with such warmth and kindness—it felt like visiting a long-lost relative. Her husband, a retired Army Brigadier, is equally charming and has an Ayurvedic and naturopathy store, which reflects his passion for wellness and healing. What made the experience even more special was hearing their story. Mrs. Kumkum shared that her father-in-law had a home in Bhimtal, and the memories tied to this peaceful hill town led her to settle down here after retirement. There’s something so comforting about a place rooted in nostalgia and love—and it truly shows in how they’ve built their lives and businesses here. If you’re ever in Bhimtal, do stop by—you won’t just find great service, but also a story and a sense of home.

Such a pleasant experience at this place. Food was great, but what truly made it special was meeting Brigadier Sir and his wife - the owners. Their warmth and hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome. Had a wonderful time, will definitely visiting again :)
